Notes and Trivia[]

  • Moral: Being short or small isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes it can be very useful.
  • Cassie is absent in this episode.
  • Emmy is the one who flies on Ord here. This is one of very few such cases.
  • This is the first time Max is upset about being short. The second time being "One Big Wish." Briefly during the beginning of "Small Time" and in "A Small Victory," it is a strong plot point.
  • The episode title refers to a "tall tale", meaning an event that is fictitious or fanciful to others, but it also refers to Max's dislike at being small.
