Dialogue[]

  • [The episode begins in Max and Emmy's playroom. While Max is at a desk --in the playroom-- reading a book, Emmy --who has gotten a toy keyboard out of the toy box-- she sings while playing the toy keyboard. Emmy sings a nursery rhyme and plays it on the keyboard.]
  • Emmy: [singing] Three blind mice, three blind mice, see how they run, see how they run.
  • Max: [giggles] That's funny!
  • [Emmy plays another nursery rhyme. It is "Baa-Baa Black Sheep". That is, as she sings...!]
  • Emmy: [does this again] Baa, baa, black sheep, Have you any wool?
  • Max: Let me try!
  • [Max --who wants to play the keyboard with Emmy-- takes the keyboard and tries to make himself room for it.]
  • Emmy: Nuh-uh! [stubbornly takes it back] I'm playing with it! [continues playing]
  • Max: Mom! Emmy isn't sharing the keyboard!
  • Mom: Try to find something else till it's your turn, Max!
  • [However, Max buries the hatchet. And--forgetting about the keyboard--he regards to Ord in Dragon Land. That is, as he says...!]
  • Max: Maybe Ord has something cool to share with me.
  • [Max goes into the playroom's drawer, opens it, finds the dragon box, and takes the scale.]
  • Max: I wish, I wish, with all my heart,--
  • [As Emmy keeps playing her keyboard, she gets off of it. Then she hears Max preparing for Dragon Land.]
  • Emmy: Wait for me! [follows him]
  • Max and Emmy: --to fly with Dragons, in a land apart.
  • [The dragons on the wall come to life and surround them. A honey hummer hums around Dragon Land and flies to Ord]
  • Ord: Aw! What a cute little honey hummer.
  • [The bird flies around then makes him pass out, he confusingly watches and hears Emmy and Max appear]
  • Max: Hey, Ord, what are you doin'? [they come to him]
  • Ord: I was following a honey hummer, hoping to find some honey... Only I got twisted up and fell on my tummy.
  • Max: Anything new in your pouch today?
  • Ord: Uh-huh. [Pulls out ham and cheese sandwich slice] Got a ham and cheese sandwich. Well, half a sandwich anyway. I wonder if it's the ham half or the cheese half.
  • Max: Anything else?
  • [Ord pulls the slice back in as he's about to pull out more, but suddenly they all hear the knuckerhole quaking and letting out Zak and Wheezie causing them to take cover]
  • Wheezie: Hiya, Emmy. Hiya, Max.
  • Zak: So, what do you wanna do today?
  • Emmy: I don't know. What do you want to do?
  • Wheezie: I have a yo-yo. [Reaches it from their pocket and plays with it]
  • Zak: [snatches it] That's mine! [They fight over and then break it] Oh, no! My yo-yo!
  • Wheezie: Oh, this is just perfect, Zaky. Now there's one "yo" for you and one "yo" for me.
  • Max: And nothing fun for us to play with.
  • Cassie: [off-screen] Hey, Everybody. [Flies on-screen] Wanna see the new toy I got?
  • Emmy: Definitely.
  • Ord: You betcha.
  • [Cassie pulls out a white crayon from her pouch, the others notice in confusion]
  • Zak: It's just a crayon.
  • [Cassie's about to notice until it comes alive by growing arms, legs, and a face. She drops it then]
  • Crayon: I beg your pardon. I'm just the most amazing crayon in all of Dragon Land.
  • Wheezie: Oh, looove it!
  • Max: Cool!
  • Emmy: A talking crayon!
  • Cassie: Mr. Crayon can more than talk.
  • Crayon: I most certainly can. I can change into any color you want. [turns yellow] and whatever you draw with me comes to life. [to Cassie] Shall we show them, Cassie?
  • Cassie: Sure. [Pulls out her sketch pad, takes it with the crayon, and trains it] Please turn green, Mr. Crayon.
  • Crayon: Oh, Green's a wonderful color [while changing to said colors] There's forest green, lime green, and oh, yes, my favorite, emerald green.
  • Cassie: Emerald sounds pretty. [draws a balloon which lives by flying]
  • Max: Wow.
  • Zak: Awesome!
  • Emmy: Get it!
  • [They fail to catch the balloon and bump into each other]
  • Ord: It got away.
  • Cassie: Now, Mr. Crayon, there's something special I need you to help me draw.
  • Max: Can I try your crayon, Cassie?
  • Emmy: Me first!
  • Ord: No, me!
  • Wheezie: Me, me, oh, me!
  • Cassie: Well, I..
  • Max: Please, Cassie? Emmy won't share her keyboard with me. But I know you'll share your stuff, won't you?
  • Cassie: [sighs] Okay. [she gives Max the crayon, and it jumps to him]
  • Max: Thanks. [goes to the pad] Blue, please, Mr. Crayon.
  • Crayon: Ah, an excellent choice. Will that be sky blue, navy blue, or perhaps a nice shade of baby blue?
  • Max: Just blue.
  • Crayon: "Just blue" it is then. [turns blue]
  • [Max draws an airplane and the gang watches in delight, then the plane flies]
  • Max: Cool! [as he catches up to it, he drops the crayon who spits on the grass he tried to eat]
  • Crayon: Grass Green, yuck! [Cassie's about to pick him up, but Ord snatches]
  • Ord: May I have a turn, Cassie? May I?
  • Cassie: Really, Ord. I need to [the crayon shrugs] Oh, I guess I can wait.
  • Ord: Thanks. I'm gonna draw my very favorite things. Dragonberries! Berry, berry red, please.
  • [Mr. Crayon turns berry red and pokingly draws dots]
  • Crayon: Hey, take it easy!
  • [Cassie sadly walks behind]
  • Cassie: What am I gonna do? If I don't share my crayon, everyone will be mad at me. But I have something really important to draw. I guess I'll just have to tell them. [Comes to the gang and Ord watches her]
  • Ord: What is it, Cassie?
  • Cassie: Well... I know that Mr. Crayon is very special...and that you all want to play with him.
  • Ord: But what?
  • Cassie: Those are really nice dragonberries, Ord.
  • Ord: Gee, thanks.
  • [The dragonberries pop out of the pad]
  • Ord: Gotcha! No, I don't. Gotcha this time. Hey! I know. [pulls his net out attempting to catch them. Meanwhile, the crayon wakes up and draws a sharpener to sharpen his top]
  • Crayon: I always like to look sharp.
  • Wheezie: My turn! Yellow-orange, please.
  • [the crayon turns marigold]
  • Cassie: I'm not gonnna have time to make my special drawing... If I don't ask for my crayon back. But everyone will be mad at me if I don't let them play with my crayon. [Groans] I just don't know what to do.
  • Wheezie: [while drawing] Oh, I just love crayons. They're so scribbly.
  • Crayon: [getting scribbled] Take it easy, or I'm going to turn green again.
  • Wheezie: [stops drawing] Perfect.
  • Emmy: What is it?
  • [Wheezie's drawing on the pad reveals to be a saxophone]
  • Wheezie: A "Wheezy-phone"!
  • [The saxophone lives, Wheezie then carries it and plays it loud in front of Emmy and Zak]
  • Zak: Where's the crayon?
  • [The crayon wakes up]
  • Crayon: You'd think they'd know how to treat a fine writing instrument like me.
  • [Zak catches the crayon to draw earmuffs before dropping it and dons them with a sigh, the crayon gets up from his drop]
  • Crayon: I simply must show these youngsters what they can draw with me besides dragonberries and "wheezy-phones". [He walks out]
  • Cassie: If I don't take my crayon back now, it'll be too late. You can do it, Cassie. Be strong. [Comes to Wheezie] May I please have my crayon back? I really need my crayon. [No answer due to the music] I NEED MY CRAYON! [Wheezie stops playing] Please?
  • Zak: You don't have to shout.
  • [Max and Ord come to Cassie]
  • Max: What's the matter, Cassie?
  • Cassie: I really need my crayon so I can draw a get-well card for my mom. She has a really bad cold.
  • Ord: Why didn't you say something before?
  • Cassie: I was afraid you'd all be mad to me if I didn't share my crayon.
  • Emmy: Why would we be mad at you?
  • Zak: Yeah, making a card for your mom's important.
  • Cassie: And you're not mad at me?
  • Wheezie: Of course not, [to Zak] Give her back her crayon, Zak.
  • Zak: I don't have him.
  • Emmy and Max: I wish, I wish, to use this rhyme to go back home, until next time.
  • [The siblings teleport back to the playroom. Emmy kneels down and starts playing the keyboard again. It makes chicken sounds. Max looks sad.]
  • Emmy: [eyeing Max's long face] You can use it. [pushes the keyboard to him]
  • Max: I didn't want to use it, Emmy. I only wanted to share it. Can't we play it together?
  • Emmy: Definitely!
  • [Max kneels down next to Emmy, and the siblings sing their own song.]
  • Emmy and Max: [while pressing random keys] Three blind chickens! Three blind chickens! [they cluck together and giggle as the scene fades to black.]
