First Appearance

Emmy (voiced by Andrea Libman) is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Max) of Dragon Tales and the older sister of Max. She is 6 years old. She‘s the leader of the group until she gave her position to Enrique while helping him get used to Dragon Land. Her best friend is Cassie, and she is best known for saying her catchphrase, "Definitely!" whenever a good idea arises. Though Emmy isn't ashamed to do "girly" things with Cassie, she‘s also heavily into games and sports and mainly is up for a different activity regardless of traditional gender roles. Though she experiences some jealousy of her brother, the two are otherwise usually together within Dragon Land and share many adventures. Though a brave, smart natural leader, she’s also impulsive and doesn't always think before she acts. She can also be bossy sometimes.
Physical Appearance[]
Emmy has long dark brown hair, which is usually styled in a ponytail tied up with a red ribbon, and brown eyes. She’s usually seen wearing a light denim blue button-up knee-length overall jumper over a red short-sleeved shirt, pearl studded earrings, cream-colored socks and red converse-style high-top sneakers. In "To Kingdom Come" and "Zak Takes A Dive" she wears a red one-piece swimsuit with a yellow flower on the front.
However, she has her socks and sneakers removed in "Sand Castle Hassle" while on the beach and again in "Cassie Catches Up" when she and Cassie use their feet while playing Bobbing for Apples.
In "Zak's Song", "The Big Sleepover", and "Rise And Bloom", she wears red button-up pajamas with yellow dragons as sleepwear.
She has been shown wearing two different snow outfits. In the season one episodes "Snow Dragons," "My Way or Snow Way," and "Up, Up and Away," she is seen wearing a pink snowsuit with matching pants along with red mittens, and red striped scarf and dark maroon boots. During the season two episodes "A Snowman For All Seasons," "On Thin Ice," and "The Grudge Won’t Budge," and the season three episode "Super Snow Day," she wears a lavender snowsuit with light yellow pants, along with a dark pink snow hat, yellow mittens, a light pink scarf and brown boots.
In "A Crown For Princess Kidoodle", she wore a red puffy short-sleeved knee-length wide-pleated formal dress with a yellow sash tied into a ribbon in the back (which she notes is her favorite party dress), white tights and red Mary Jane shoes.
In "Head Over Heels", she wears a yellow T-shirt with long blue jeans, the exact same outfit as then-future newcomer Enrique with her usual red sneakers.
Personality[]
Emmy is playful and happy, and loves her younger brother Max. However, they occasionally have arguments with each other. She's also known for saying "Definitely!" whenever a good idea arises. For some reasons, she is also known by being impulsive and bossy at times, wanting things being done her way.
She also knows some Spanish, but she isn't very fluent in it like Quetzal and Enrique are (although she does know a few more words in Spanish than Max does), so she doesn't speak it way too well.

Trivia[]
- It’s likely that her original name is either Emily or Emilia, as those are the only two names that can be properly shortened to "Emmy".
- Her voice actress, Andrea Libman, is also the voice for Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls, Madeline in the second and third seasons of Madeline the series and Lost in Paris, Sweet Grapes and Lemon Meringue in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures, and Harmony Bear in Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot.
- Although she is mentioned to be 6, Andrea Libman revealed she used her natural voice starting around the age of 13 and presumably finished at 20.
- Emmy usually flies on Cassie, and seldom flies on Ord or Zak and Wheezie.
- Just like her brother Max, she is also present in every episode in Dragon Tales. However, Max does go to Dragon Land without Emmy in 2 episodes, the first time being "My Emmy Or Bust," and the second and last time being "Something's Missing."
- Emmy changes size only once throughout the series, in the episode "Small Time", when she and Max shrink down to ant size after being exposed to the Shrinking Violets. Unlike Max in the episode "One Big Wish", she doesn't grow any bigger at any point in the series.
