The Rainbow Canyon is canyon colored with multiple colors. At one area in the canyon, there is a flower which a cave hides behind. In the cave, there are lumps of color clay. In one episode of Dragon Tales, Emmy, Max, Ord, Cassie, Zak and Wheezie run out of color clay and explore the caves to find more.
Quetzal and Cassie both reveal in "Pigment of Your Imagination" that it is called Rainbow Canyon because it rains in the afternoon, forming a beautiful rainbow. The rule of picking up pigment for paint is to do it before it rains because the rain makes the colors blend together, making the colors muddy.
