Max and Emmy and the dragon friends play catch with a goo ball Max and Ord made out of their play goo, but when it gets lost by rolling into a dark cave, Ord is nervous about going into the cave since he's still scared of the dark. Ord must try his hardest to brave his fear of the dark once more to find it.
Emmy: [She and Max just returned home from their Creepy Caverns adventure, and the sun had set a long time ago while they were away] Wow! The day went by really fast! It’s night already!
Max: [They hear the sound of water running.] Did you hear that?
Emmy: Uh-huh..…
Max: Sounds like a..…
Emmy and Max’s Mom: Your bath is ready!
Emmy and Max: WATER MONSTER!!!!! [They run out of the playroom laughing up a storm and shut the door behind them before bathtime.]
When Max asks “What about our ball of goo?”, one of the scales on Ord’s tail disappears for a split second.
There are several scenes in the cave where the characters’ cels are not fully painted at the bottom of the screen.
Also, when Max says ‘I just said that’, his legs are missing.
When singing a song while the friends are walking through the cave, Cassie sings a line in Wheezie's voice instead of her own. A similar mistake happened earlier in the episode when Cassie said "Look out Ord", where Cassie accidentally used Max's voice instead of her own.

Moral: The scary sounds you might hear are actually normal sounds, so there’s no need to be scared of them.
Ord makes a callback to "Emmy's Dream House," where he brings out a blob of purple goo from the clouds from said episode.
The kids appeared in Dragon Land and were greeted by the Dragons offscreen. This also happened in "Four Little Pigs".
Max says ‘it’s alive!’, which is a reference to Dr. Frankenstein from Mary Shelley's novel of the same last name.
Cassie's only speaking line in this episode is "Look out, Ord!", when Ord is rolling on top of the goo ball the friends lost into the cave. She did not speak in the rest of the episode.
This is an episode where Max and Emmy haven't been seen or heard appearing in Dragon Land, just like "Four Little Pigs."
