Dialogue[]

  • [Emmy comes into the playroom with some mixing cups in hand.]
  • Emmy: Come on, Max. We don't want to be late.
  • [As Emmy goes to get the scale, Max comes in with a mixing bowl on his head, swishing a whisk around like a sword.]
  • Max: I’m going to mix the batter! Take that!! And that!! And that!!
  • Emmy: [giggles] We’re baking a cake, not fighting pirates.
  • Max: Aye-aye, Cap-I-tan!
  • Max: Hey, Ord? Wheezie said we only need three eggs.
  • Ord: I know. I brought extras in case we break any. See?
  • [Ord tips the basket and three eggs fall out, breaking onto the ground in front of Max’s feet.]
  • Max: [giggling] Good idea.
  • [Meanwhile, Zak and Wheezie are collecting eggs of their own, getting theirs from a rainbow chicken in a tree. Wheezie has a baseball mitt in her hand.]
  • Wheezie: Here, chick, chick, chick, chickie! Pitch it right in here!!
  • [The chicken clucks and lays one egg and it lands right into Wheezie's mitt.]
  • Wheezie: Attagirl! Strike one!! Do it again! Right down the middle!!
  • [Wheezie puts that egg into their pouch. The chicken clucks and lays another egg, and it too lands in the mitt.]
  • Wheezie: Strike two!! Way to go! One more time!!
  • [Wheezie puts that egg into their pouch too. The chicken clucks and then lays one more egg, but it bounces off a branch and cracks right onto Zak's head.]
  • Zak: Oof!! Ew!!
  • Wheezie: Fowl ball!!!
  • [Zak, however, is not amused.]
  • Wheezie: [laughing] Get it?! Foul ball!!! [She continues laughing while Zak is still angry.]
  • [Even the chicken is laughing.]
  • [Later, Max and Ord are waiting back at the cake contest. Max is sitting on a stump and points up towards the sky.]
  • Max: There they are!
  • [Zak, Wheezie, Cassie and Emmy all fly in.]
  • Zak: Did you get the stuff?
  • Emmy: Uh-huh!
  • Max: Let’s see.
  • Wheezie: Zak and I found eggs. Got ‘em right here!
  • [Wheezie pats their stomach and a crack sound is heard. Zak reaches into their pouch and finds the eggs are all broken.]
  • Zak: Ew!! Nice going, Wheezie. You broke ‘em!
  • [Wheezie feels ashamed for breaking the eggs.]
  • Ord: That’s okay. Max and I got some eggs too.
  • Max: What did you get, Emmy?
  • [Cassie and Emmy seem to have gotten the same thing as well and look a little confused.]
  • Cassie & Emmy: Eggs?
  • Zak: Who brought the cake mix and milk?
  • [Nobody says a word, as they all have gotten the same thing and now look very confused.]
  • Max: Baking a cake is hard.
  • Ord: Yeah. It’s much easier just to eat one.
  • Ord: Oh boy!! Dragonberries!! I'll get those!
  • Max: And I'll make sure he doesn't eat them all.
  • Emmy: Cassie and I will get the carrots.
  • Zak: We already have plenty of eggs. (Everyone agrees and nods.) So Wheezie and I will get the cake mix and milk. That’s everything. We’ll all meet back at my mom's kitchen.
  • Wheezie: Yeah! Let’s shake it!! AND BAKE IT!!!!!
  • [Everyone dashes off to get the stuff.]
  • Zak: Stop! This isn’t working! Before we start, we need to decide who’s going to do what.
  • Ord: And who’s gonna do the deciding?
  • Wheezie: Chef Zaky!! [laughs]
  • Zak: Me?!
  • Wheezie: You're the dude, now make the food!
  • Zak: Uh, well, okay. A good cook does things one step at a time in just the right order.
  • Ord: But how will we know what to do?
  • Max: But Ord sneezed it all over.
  • Zak: Don’t worry. I brought an extra box.
  • Cassie: Hey, that was good planning.
  • Zak: Pour it, Wheezie.
  • Ord: Let’s put the rest of the stuff in right away!
  • Zak: Wait! Something’s not right.
  • [Zak looks over the stuff on the table.]
  • Zak: Hmmm, I know. The bowl is going to be too small, and everything’s gonna spill and make a big mess!
  • Cassie: Maybe there’s a bigger bowl in the cupboard.
  • Zak: Good idea.
  • Zak: Max, you can pour in the milk. But don’t spill any.
  • Zak: Okay. Time for the eggs.
  • Wheezie: I’m good at breaking eggs.
  • Zak: [unamused] I know. Emmy, you do it.
  • Wheezie: Wanna see how I like to do it?
  • Zak: Not really.
  • [Wheezie takes two eggs and tosses them in the air.]
  • Zak: Wheezie!
  • [When the eggs come down, Wheezie uses two pot lids to catch them, clashing them together like cymbals. The eggs then seep out of the lids and into the bowl.]
  • Wheezie: Now that was egg-citing! [Laughs] Get it? Egg-citing.
  • Max: What’s next? [Emmy flips the page]
  • Emmy: We have to grind up the carrots in teeny little pieces.
  • Zak: [nervously] Uh, but mommy never lets us use anything sharp, because we might cut ourselves.
  • Ord: I know! My sister taught me a really fun way to cut up vegetables, with my handy-dandy built in carrot peeler.
  • Zak: Okay, Emmy, you pour in the dragonberries.
  • [Everyone looks around and sees the dragonberries are nowhere to be found.]
  • Emmy: Where are they?
  • Cassie: I saw them right over there.
  • Zak: Where could they be?
  • [Ord just stands around casually, acting innocent. But everyone comes to one conclusion.]
  • Ord: What?
  • [Ord was the one who ate the dragonberries, as they are seen in his mouth.]
  • All: Ord!
  • Ord: I couldn't help myself.
  • Zak: [annoyed] Oh great! The cake contest is gonna start soon and we don’t have time to pick more dragonberries!
  • Wheezie: Perfect. It's time to bake it!
  • Zak: Oh no! We can't.
  • Max: Why not?
  • Zak: 'Cause we're not allowed to use the oven without Mom.
  • Wheezie: I can fix that. MOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
  • Max: That sure was good cake!
  • Emmy: Yeah! I’m full.
  • Mom: [offscreen] Max! Emmy!
  • Emmy: Uh oh!
  • Max: What?
  • Emmy: I think there’s something we didn’t plan too well.
  • Max: What?!
  • Mom: Dinner time!
  • Both: Oh...
  • [The kids both sit on chairs, feeling stuffed from all the cake they ate. The screen then fades to black ending the episode.]
