Memorable Quotes[]
Emmy: Why don’t you accept Wheezie’s apology, Zak? She said she’s sorry.
Max: And that it was an accident.
Zak: Wheezie was playing with my flute and that wasn’t an accident!
Emmy: You two are coming, aren’t you?
Zak: Well I am. If a certain someone tags along, I suppose I can’t stop her....

Goofs[]
- After Max and Emmy arrive home, Max is seen wearing his yellow snow pants as he is taking off his jacket, but in the next shot he appears in, his pants change to the same color as his regular brown pants.
Notes and Trivia[]
- Morals:
- Holding a grudge against someone will make both you and the people around you miserable.
- If you’re upset with someone, talk it out with them. It might make you feel better. If you continue to ignore that certain person, it will only make you feel more guilty and ashamed of yourself.
- This is the fifth and last episode, but sixth and last time someone breaks someone else's belongings. The first being in "A Liking to Biking," after Ord breaks Max's bike when he tried it. The second time being in "A Smashing Success," after Max accidentally breaks one of Emmy's dolls by pulling his flashlight string too hard while it was tangled to the doll's arm, and the third time being in the same episode when Emmy accidentally breaks Wheezie's trumpet while she plays music with it when the dragon friends go and get a snack. Even though Emmy is afraid of telling Wheezie about the trumpet incident, Wheezie blames Zak (then Cassie) for breaking it instead. The third episode but fourth time was in "Do Not Pass Gnome," when Max accidentally breaks Emmy's yo-yo after he tried it and he was told not to, and the fourth episode but fifth time being in "Much Ado About Nodlings," after the Giant of Nod gets very angry at Max for accidentally wrecking the Nodlings' wagon while driving his toy bulldozer in the long grass.
- This is also the second time a little creature hangs around a main character due to their emotions (and in fact represents said main character's emotions). The first was in "The Fury is Out on This One," in which a Fury hangs around Max due to his frustration. Like the previous episode, the only way the Grudge will go away is if that someone (in this case, Zak) learns to stop being mad.
- Coincidentally, this episode also uses the same music track that was used for the Fury whenever the grudge is speaking to Zak.
- It also marks the second episode that has the dragons go ice-skating, the first time being "On Thin Ice." The difference is in that episode, the dragons wore ice skates, helmets, and pads, but here, they skate with just their bare feet and wear no safety gear.
- This episode makes a couple callbacks to season one. As the gang is in a cave, Ord reminds Zak of when Wheezie helped him catch a sackberry in the episode "Dragon Drop" and Emmy mentions when they learned how to swim in "Zak takes a Dive."
- In this episode, Zak's dragon badge glows, but Wheezie's doesn't.
- This marks the third episode where Max imitates Wheezie's catchphrase upon returning home, the first two being "To Fly With Dragons" (where he shares it with Emmy) and "Try It You'll Like It," but the second where he says it without Emmy, the first being "Try It You'll Like It" again.
