Wild Time is the second segment of the thirty-fourth episode of the first season of Dragon Tales.
Summary[]
On the day of the Dragon Scale festival, Max’s constant goofing around causes both Zak and Wheezie’s xylophone and Ord’s sculpture to break.
Plot[]
Max shows Emmy blowing raspberries and burping, but bugging her as she's making an egg-carton igloo. After she tells him to go somewhere else, Max agrees with her suggestion and decides to head to Dragon Land to be silly with Ord, to which Emmy then decides to follow while waiting for the glue to dry anyway.
Zak and Wheezie are angry with Max, since his burping noise caused them to accidentally break their xylophone, Emmy and Ord are irritated at him and Cassie is disappointed with him.
Ord is also very angry with his best friend, for accidentally breaking the tail off of his statue and sends him away, when he tried to smoosh the tail back together, but Ord didn’t want his help and tells him off that he had ruined enough things for today.
Max then decides to go to Quetzal for help and asks him why no one in Dragon Land is in the mood for any games, Quetzal then explains to him, that it’s because, there are times to play and other times not to play. Max then tells him that he was just having fun, and that everyone is angry with him, when Quetzal asks him why, it’s because he had accidentally wrecked their stuff for the festival and that he didn’t mean to ruin them and tells him that Ord doesn't have enough scales to fix his statue. Quetzal then tells him that he should tell Ord to go with him to get some more scales from the Scales Dragon, which Max agrees to fix his mistake by making it up to his best friend by helping him fix his statue.

Notes and Trivia[]
- Moral: There is a time and a place for play, but not when somebody is busy with something important. If someone else is busy with something important, let them finish; do not bother them.
- This is the episode to feature The Forest of Balloon Trees, and Max is the only character to enter this forest.
- Zak and Wheezie's song is based on the traditional British song "Danny Boy".
- It is unknown what kind of adhesive (e.g. glue) the dragons use when they put their scales together, or if they have their own adhesive.
- Ironically, Ord is upset with Max for breaking his dragon scale model but later on when he and Max visit the scales shop, they both nearly knock over towers of dragon scales when they each grabbed one from them. Ord even unknowingly hits a shelf with crystals with his tail.
